About CIF India

A community-centred non-profit working at the intersection of innovation, public health, and social equity.

Born from a Commitment to Health Equity

Community Innovations Foundation (CIF India) was established in 2026 as a Section 8 Not-for-Profit Company, incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013. We were founded in response to a clearly identified gap — the lack of community-centred, innovation-driven approaches to public health for India's most vulnerable populations.

Rooted in Ernakulam, Kerala, our work is global in alignment but local in action. We believe that lasting health change happens at the community level — through people, with people, and for people.

Our approach is evidence-based, solutions-focused, and deeply human. We identify systemic gaps, design innovative interventions, and work alongside communities — especially tribal groups, older persons, persons with disabilities, women and children — who are often left behind by mainstream health systems.

🌱
